Sugar and spice and all the things good. These are good edible items and a superb snack as a part of your grazing board. They’re candy, sticky, salty with some spice and I am unable to cease consuming them. You may swap the nuts in case you are not an almond fan and omit the chili if you wish to hold them candy solely. (No judgment right here!) πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Substances:
-Bag of almonds
-150ml of water/half a cup
-Three tbsp of sugar
-1 tbsp of salt, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, black floor pepper.

Technique:
-Dry roast almonds in a big sizzling flat pan till toasted on either side for a couple of minutes. Put aside
-In a pan carry the water to a boil and add the sugar till dissolved.
-Add the remainder of the substances and blend properly. Add the almonds and hold mixing till there isn’t a water left. Any left makes your almond soggy. Observe this takes on a medium warmth 10-15 minutes of blending till you find yourself with a syrup.
-Lay your almonds on a baking tray and with a fork single all of them out. Enable to chill down.
-Optionally available – for a glazed crunch – 10 minutes in an oven for the crispy glaze and they’re good, sprinkle some cayenne powder while they settle down.
-Add to an air-tight container or glass jars to provide as presents.

  1. These look so good. I’ve made them but not with sugar. Have you done them with sunflower or pumpkin seeds too? SO moorish
