The mango sticky rice was simpler than I assumed however this… more durable than it appears 😂 I suppose I’ll purchase this for CNY as a substitute since I could not get the pores and skin to puff up AGAIN.. 😞
This was my second try…I even cut up the pork stomach into 2 so I might attempt 2 completely different strategies in hopes that at the very least one’s pores and skin would puff up and crisp superbly…
🆘 when you have any suggestions and methods, please let me know 🙏. I final tried this over a 12 months in the past and it has saved me up at night time since then 😂 it will take me a while to recuperate once more however third instances the attraction proper?
🐷 What I used:
Pork stomach, shaoxing wine, coarse sea salt, sugar, 5 spice powder, white pepper, rice wine vinegar
What I did:
🔪 madly poked holes within the pores and skin
💤 let it relaxation uncovered pores and skin aspect up for two nights within the fridge
📸 pic 1-2: baked in tin foil with a layer of coarse sea salt then eliminated and broiled on low. I even poured piping sizzling oil on the finish!
📸 pic 3-4: air fried in tin foil then eliminated and air fried once more
Flavour was good however I am not posting this recipe till I get it proper… 🆘🆘🆘
P.s. I didn’t put Scotch on this.. I simply cracked my shaoxing wine bottle and wanted one other bottle lol
