Good factor that BC’s most interesting is accessible at dianasseafood this weekend 😍 kusshi oysters and sea urchin. I’ve to restrict myself to 1 tray as I can eat 2 trays in 1 sitting lol. Ps. kusshi are on sale for 13.99/dozen 😱

🍷 Since we’re nonetheless in and I’m a sucker for cute packaging, we tried out the acidleague ‘s wine proxies. They are not wine they usually’re not meant to style like wine. It’s a mix of fruit juices, teas, vinegars, and different parts that give a degree of complexity that wine would provide.
We have tried 2 now, the “purple” final evening named velvet and the “white” tonight named sauvage. Sauvage is a mix of inexperienced apple, sauv blanc grapes, verjus, apple vinegar, white tea, spruce ideas, cedar, juniper, and caraway. You actually do get the spruce ideas and cedar coming by way of ! We choose this one to this point.
🍷Will it exchange wine for me? No.
However this was enjoyable to attempt!
It is like attempting a brand new cocktail, minus the alcohol.
Fancy nice eating eating places have began providing juice pairings on some menus now so why not 🤷
Each of those are attention-grabbing flavour profiles I have not skilled earlier than and the acid in it does refresh the palette when having dinner 😂
