🐷 XO sauce pork, lotus root and chives stir fry

Welcome to the primary publish of dinswithwil. Hello all – that is Wil, also referred to as sous chef, lighting man, assistant purchaser and esteemed dishwasher. We’re on trip so thought I might takeover and provides the star of the present an evening off.

Tonight we’re that includes a fast and straightforward dish: XO sauce pork jowl, lotus root and chives stir fry (really easy that even a dummy can do it!)

Tip: reasonable your oil because the chives are inclined to soak oil and the pork jowl and XO sauce have already got enough fats

What you will want
Four garlic
2 sections of lotus root
1 bundle of chives
2 4oz pork jowl
1 crimson chili pepper (optionally available)
2 tbsp XO sauce
1 tsp sesame oil.

Technique:
1. Preheat medium excessive warmth wok with oil and toss in minced garlic
2. Add pork jowl (reduce in 45Β° slices) to sear each edges till you get color
3. Season with salt and pepper to your tasting
4. Peel and slice lotus root then qdd lotus root and chives and stir fry for 1.5-2 minutes (much less if you need crunchiness from lotus root and chives)
5. Add 2-Three tablespoon of your favourite XO sauce and sesame oil and toss
